Try Hack Me - Crack The Hash - Password hacking with Hashcat

Today I am working through some more Try Hack Me rooms, Im not doing write ups or anything like that, I am just spilling out my words on to this blog so the world knows what I am up to!

The screenshot above shows the live hackbox machine on Try Hack Me and within that a Linux terminal showing hashcat successfully completing a dictionary attack on an MD5 hash of a password. A nice and fast easy one to start with, let's see what other challenges this room has for me !
