Setting up Active Directory on Windows Server 2022 and Adding Users

Following on from last post I now have all my VM's setup, fully updated and working a treat in my Azure lab environment.

The picture is important, let's take a look in some more detail at what we have here

This is a screenshot of my Mac OS desktop which is running Microsoft RDP. I am connected to my Azure lab which has a small network of VM's. We have a Linux web server, Windows 2022 server, Windows 10 standalone machine and Kali Linux all connected to a virtual switch with internet access. To the left you can see my VM's installed, to the right Windows server open with Active Directory being setup and in the background another windows 10 machine which is hosting everything ! This afternoon I have setup the web server on Ubuntu and now I am installing Active Directory and setting up some dummy users (to hack later)!

Once I have added some more users I am going to install an OpenVPN server for secure comms between the windows server and the standalone windows 10 machine, which is my end point device. Then im going to install multi factor authentication on both servers and the end point and lastly (before the hacking begins) I will install Crowdstrike Falcon on the end point and configure IDS/IPS on the windows server.... There is probably some other things Ive missed then but the idea here is to fully max out security with everything as it should be and then I am going try and find some vulnerabilities with Kali.
