Today I have finished my first malware analysis report. I am currently undertaking the TCM Security course on malware analysis which was authored by the amazing HuskyHacks.
The malware used in the course is just dummy malware created by HuskyHacks for the purposes of the course and whilst I have not been asked to create a report on any of the malware samples I thought it would be good practise to start getting in the habit of taking detailed notes during my analysis and then creating a report on my findings.
If you decide to read my report please remember that the malware sample was created for the purposes of learning malware analysis and is not meant to be used for proper research or information!
